Step 1 Warming-up

1) Greeting

T:Good morning, boys and girls.

2) Let’s chant

T: Listen to me carefully. We will chant three times.: the first time, I do you see; the second time, I see you do; the third time, do it together. Clear? OK! Ready go.

Red is color for the tomato;

Yellow is color for the banana;

Blue is color for the sky and sea;

Green is color for the leaves on the tree;

We are, we are little kids, little kids.

Step 2 Presentation

1)Lead-in

T: Boys and girls, look at the screen! Where is it? Yes, crossroad. And what’s this?

OK! You should speak it in English. Follow me, traffic lights(板书标题). So can you guess what we will learn today? Loud, please.

2)Let’s learn

T: What’s this? Yes, car. What color is it? How to speak it in English? Show me your hands and follow me, red, red, red car. (板书)

T: What’s this? Yes, bus. What color is it? How to speak it in English? Read after me, yellow, yellow, yellow bus. (板书)

T: What’s this? Yes, plane. What color is it? How to speak it in English? Follow follow me, green, green, green plane. (板书)

T: What’s this? Yes, bike. What color is it? How to speak it in English? Read after me, yellow, yellow, yellow bus. (板书)

3) Let’s try

T: When I show 0, you should read once; when I show 1,you should read twice; when I show 2,you should read three times. Clear? Try your best. Here we go.

4) Let’s play

T: What’s this? Yes, light. Follow me, light、light. What color is it? Red. Red light. What color is it? Yellow. Yellow light. What color is it? Green. Green light. Do you like playing games? OK! Let’s play catch train. Game rules: I need eight students. You should stand in a line, and hold one by one. When I show red light, you should stop and say red. When I show yellow light, you should wait and say yellow. I show green light, you should go and say green. Others should be judge. OK? Are you ready? Ready, go.

Step 3 Consolidation

1) Let’s point

T: I say you do. When I say “Who is wearing yellow today”, and you should point it in our classroom. Ready?

2) Let’s listen

T: I have a beautiful song for you. Listen to the radio and tell me what color in the song. Color song. Go.
